The Ibanez™ Tube Screamer™ TS-808™ replica complete kit: the most famous overdrive of all time, built by you.
The ITS8 complete kit has everything you need to build a working replica of the Ibanez™ TS-808™ Tube Screamer™ overdrive pedal, including the printed circuit board and a pre-drilled enclosure. It is for musicians who want a great-sounding overdrive they built themselves, and for experienced builders who want a proven board to experiment on. Instead of paying boutique prices for a modded Tube Screamer™, you build the classic circuit yourself and can add the well-known mods with the optional mod pack.

What’s in the box
- Ready-to-solder PCB: double-sided, with plated-through holes that stand up to reworking.
- Every electronic part: JRC4558D op-amp in a Mill-Max IC socket, transistors, 1% metal film resistors, quality capacitors, and diode and red LED clippers.
- Controls: Drive, Tone and Level pots, including the 20k “EQ” taper tone pot like the original, plus knobs.
- On-off-on clipper toggle: switch between diode and LED clipping, or use the center position as a clean booster.
- Hardware: heavy-duty 3PDT true-bypass footswitch with LED indicator, Switchcraft™ input and output jacks, DC power jack, solid battery snap and 24 gauge stranded wire.
- Pre-drilled enclosure: 125B, 1590B (smaller) or 1590BB (larger), or order with no enclosure.
- Optional mod pack: parts for the Keeley™ mod and the “Very Expensive Boutique” mod, with extra ICs (LF353P, RC4558P) and a 1 meg Drive pot.
A 9V battery is not included. All parts are RoHS, including the lead-free solder. Unsoldered, complete kits can be returned for your money back, and we answer build questions by email.
